Welcome to Ross Hoddinott Photography | You might be wondering who I am? Quite simply, photography has shaped my life. Since my teens, all I've wanted to be is a landscape and wildlife photographer – and I feel very fortunate that I’ve been able to make photography my full-time profession. For over 25-years I’ve supplying photographs and undertaking commissions for a wide range of clients worldwide. I’ve authored several photography books (published by Ammonite Press) and I regularly contribute to the UK photographic press. I’m an experienced judge, having been on the judging panel for several major contests, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, BWPA, Close-up Photographer of the Year, and also Photocrowd. I’m probably best known for my evocative landscape images – particularly of Devon and Cornwall – and for capturing exquisite macro and close-up photographs of insects and plantlife. I co-run Dawn 2 Dusk Photography who specialise in landscape photography workshops in the UK, and I also provide bespoke 1-2-1 photography tuition. I proudly work closely with several brands, being a Nikon Alumni, a LEE Filters Ambassdor, a Benro Pro Partner, and a Global Icon for F-Stop Gear. I live in north Cornwall with my gorgeous family, where we have rewilded several acres of land to encourage local wildlife to thrive. I hope you enjoy exploring my website and galleries.
